Carola Calisi

PhD student (XL cycle)

Carola Calisi is a PhD student at the EI Lab. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2021 and 2024, respectively. Her research explores pathways to sustainable agriculture and food security by analyzing trade-offs in the Water–Energy–Food–Ecosystems (WEFE) nexus within the Planetary Boundaries framework under different climatic and socio-economic futures. She is also interested in extreme events and their impacts on the agricultural sector.
