IN-WOP project kickoff
Published by admin on
The eiLab is participating in the kickoff of the JPI Project Mind the Water Cycle Gap: Innovating Water Management Optimisation Practice (IN-WOP), hosted by TU Delft in Delft (Netherlands). IN-WOP aims at investigating the contribution of many-objective optimization approaches to Integrated Water Resources Management for enriching the solution space with alternatives that better reflect the diverging perspectives of stakeholders, and align better with ethical concerns.
The focus of the meeting is introducing the three project case studies, i.e. Lake Como (Italy), Seine River (France), and Meguellil Basin (Tunisia). These applications will allow developing a comparative evaluation of many-objective approaches in diverse hydrological and cultural settings.
